Hard work, high quality, and attention to detail. Made in America the way things used to be. Scav Eng officially started in 2022, but unofficially it has been a lifelong passion. Scav Eng products have been created over the years to fit personal needs when those products didn’t exist. After working for everyone’s favorite and largest “corporation” in the USA as a Mechanical Engineer for 12 years, the decision was made to leave that mess behind and build the Scav Eng brand. Scav Eng is an American brand, focusing on getting reliable high-quality products out to customers, free of outside interference and the terrible upper management decisions found in so many big corporations. Rest assured that high quality is the priority, not quarterly profits and answering to shareholders… Scav Eng doesn’t have any.
Custom Work
Pulling from a lifelong passion of designing/building custom everything, Scav Eng can design and build utilizing a large number of interdisciplinary skills. Scav Eng has a long history of repurposing products to change or enhance their intended use. With engineering theory and a perfectionist approach to fabrication, your items will be well thought out and built to a high standard. From high end survival knives, to functional artwork, the possibilities are a request away.
Outdoor Gear
Sometimes you want something that is purpose built, versatile, lightweight, but also very reliable. Scav Eng aims to fit the niche where military level high reliability meets the commercial world. All outdoor gear is made as reliable as possible, as light as possible, with multi-use versatility and an off the grid user in mind.
Rest assured that all Scav Eng products are thoroughly prototyped, tweaked, used, abused, made and remade, and in some cases have been in service for years before that design has been offered on the market. All Scav Eng products are made right in here in Washington state, USA, and utilize American made materials as much as possible. In fact, most raw materials utilized are made in the America AND meet or exceed USA Military Specifications, making them very robust and reliable for all types of outdoor activities.
From being labeled as a scavenger a long time ago for pulling parts from equipment destined for the landfill and repurposing to build things that were needed, Scav Eng was born. Scavenger. Engineer. Scav Eng.
